In this video I demonstrate how some multimeters with a Hi Res (high resolution) mode round the last digit when switching back to a low resolution mode. In essence they just "hide" the last digit which is not the correct way they should handle this.

Why do you need an insulation tester?
The insulation tester is designed to check the integrity of conductors wires or check the insulation value of motor/compressor windings. We check if there is a breakdown in there that might cause malfunctioning. Insulation tester is helpful for a preventive maintenance plan (PMP) it allows you to do a streamlined test and baseline test.
