7050LP Low Pressure Indicator

sku Product SKU:  FCL-7050LP

The 7050LP low pressure digital pressure indicator, part of the versatile Series 7250 family, is specifically designed to meet the demanding performance requirements of calibrating low pressure sensors, transducers, mechanical gauges, portable calibrators and their plug-in modules. To accommodate bidirectional devices, the 7050LP can be supplied to operate in both positive and negative gauge modes.

The 7050LP offers unmatched performance and measurement precision. Utilizing multiple ranges in a single instrument, the 7050LP combines precision, stability, and affordability. The 7050LP has a unique quartz sensor, the most accurate pressure sensing technology available in a digital pressure calibrator. Each quartz sensor is manufactured and tested to provide the ultimate performance required by a Fluke Calibration pressure calibrator, ensuring that every customer receives the highest quality, precision and stability in their instrument.

Advanced precision

The 7050LP is available in three different range configurations, each a dual range instrument. Select either the 10 inH20 and 30 inH2O combination, or the 20 inH2O and 60 inH2O or the 35 inH2O and 100 inH2O range combination. Each combination provides a precision to 0.005 % of reading from 10 to 100 % of the higher range. For pressures from 0 to 10 %, the precision is a fixed error equal to 0.005 % of 10 % FS. This unmatched precision is achieved by the unique quartz pressure sensing technology that puts the pressure in direct contact with the quartz element, eliminating mechanical linkages and metal diaphragms. Since this is a differential sensor, the reference side of the 7050LP can be connected to the reference side (low side) of the device under test. Therefore, disturbances due to room drafts, HVAC systems and opening/closing doors, which can have a detrimental effect on the calibration process, are eliminated. The 7050LP provides both unequalled precision and excellent long term stability due to the inherent properties of quartz. For example, the total uncertainty for a 10/30 inH2O range combination over a one year calibration interval is 0.009 % of reading or 0.00015 inH2O (whichever is greater).

Automating pressure test and calibration

The 7050LP is easy to use and can be automated through the remote interface.

The 7050LP is provided with both an RS-232 and IEEE-488 interface, and syntax for all Series 7250s follows SCPI protocol for easy programming. COMPASS® for Pressure, an off-the-shelf software package, is available. A LabVIEW® driver is available as a free download. As a standard feature, software written for the previous generation Series 7215, 7010 and 6000 instruments is fully supported by the 7050LP. The 7050LP can be set to 510 emulation mode to use software originally written for the DPI 510. Firmware updates can be performed over the RS-232 interface (updates can be downloaded from the web site). A MET/CAL® software driver is available.

Versatility to handle any pneumatic pressure calibration

The 7050LP is versatile enough to handle almost any type of low pressure calibration.

Dual range: The 7050LP has two ranges in one instrument, 10 inH2O and 30 inH2O, or specify the 20 inH2O and 60 inH2O or the 35 inH2O and 100 inH2O range combination. The 7050LP will automatically change ranges to ensure the highest performance at the requested pressure.

Pressure units/scales: The 7050LP includes more than 12 standard units of measure, including inH2O at 4 °C (39 °F), 20 °C (68 °F), and 16°C (61 °F), in Hg at 0 °C (32 °F) and 16 °C (61 °F), kPa, bar, psi, kg/cm3, mm Hg at 0 °C (32 °F), cm Hg at 0 °C (32 °F), and cm H2O at 4°C (39 °F), and two user-defined units.

Head pressure: The 7050LP automatically corrects for head pressure differences.

Accredited Calibration Report: The 7050LP comes standard with an accredited calibration report.

Options

The 7050LP can be provided for gauge mode operation, or with:

  • Vacuum (negative gauge) mode for bidirectional devices
  • Rack mount kit

AMETEK-Ls-Lx Series

sku Product SKU:  AME-Ls-Lx S

The Ls/Lx Series is a completely improved new product based on the popular California Instruments L Series. Both the Ls and Lx feature many basic AC Source capabilities at a very reasonable price. For more information on either product, please click on the product tab on the right.

Ls Series
The Ls Series is an improved version of the classic California Instruments L Series AC power sources. It provides many basic AC source capabilities at an economical cost. Additional capabilities such as arbitrary waveform generation and harmonic measurements can be added as options. The Ls Series can be ordered in either single phase (-1) or three phase (-3) configurations. Power levels range from 3 kVA to 6 kVA in a single chassis. Multiple chassis can be combined for power levels up to 18 kVA. The Ls Series is completely microprocessor controlled and can be operated from a simple front panel keypad. A pair of analog controls located next to the backlit alphanumeric LCD display allows output voltage and frequency to be slewed up or down dynamically. For more advanced operations, a series of menus is provided using a dual line high contrast LCD display. The Lx Series represents a modern AC power source that addresses increasing demands on test equipment to perform more functions at a lower cost. By combining a flexible AC power source with a high-end harmonic power analyzer, the Lx Series systems are capable of handling applications that would traditionally have required multiple instruments.

Lx Series
The Lx Series is completely microprocessor controlled and can be operated from a simple front panel keypad. A pair of analog controls located next to the backlit alphanumeric LCD display allows output voltage and frequency to be slewed up or down dynamically. With precise output regulation and accuracy, high load drive current, multi or single phase mode and built-in power analyzer measurement capabilities, Lx Series AC source/analyzers address many application areas for AC power testing. Additional features, like line arbitrary waveform generation and available DO 160 or MIL 704 test standards, make the Lx Series a good choice for avionics or defense applications. All Lx Series AC sources are equipped with IEEE-488 (GPIB) and RS232C remote control interfaces and support SCPI command language programming.

AMETEK-CSW Series

sku Product SKU:  AME-CSW S

The CSW Series represents a new generation of AC/DC power sources that address the increasing demands on test equipment to perform additional functions at a lower cost. By combining a flexible AC/DC power source with a high performance power analyzer, the Compact CSW Series is capable of handling complex applications that have traditionally required multiple systems. The sleek integrated approach of the CSW avoids cable clutter that is commonly found in test systems. All connections are made internally and the need for digital multimeters, power harmonics analyzers, and current shunts or clamps is eliminated.

Since many components in the CSW are shared between the AC/DC source and the power analyzer, the total cost of the integrated system is less than the typical cost of a multiple unit system.

Easy to use controls
The CSW Series is DSP controlled and can be operated from an easy to use front panel keypad. Functions are grouped logically and are directly accessible from the keypad. This eliminates the need to search through various levels of menus and/or soft keys. A large analog control knob can be used to quickly slew output parameters. This knob is controlled by a dynamic rate change algorithm that combines the benefits of precise control over small parameter changes with quick sweeps through the entire range.

AC, DC or AC+DC Output
A direct coupled, transformerless design allows AC and DC on separate phases or on the same phase. The CSW can be used as a true DC power supply. High DC content waveforms (up to 312 volts) can be created with no derating of output power, even with 100% reactive loads, eliminating the need for a separate DC supply. Waveform programming is easily accomplished using the Graphical Users Interface software. Waveforms can be uploaded and modified from a digital scope. The waveforms can then be downloaded to the CSW and output to precisely simulate real-world conditions.
