The CBP-PROC1 CalBench is a package that provides users with the capabilities to perform rapid calibration of process, temperature and pressure instrumentation. It is an ideal solution for instrument workshops that require a high performance workstation as the platform for calibration of plant devices and instruments.

The system features the 8060+ module situated centrally in the console for calibration and communication. It provides source, simulation and measurement of process signals, HART communication and 24 V loop power. It also includes an integral 6.5 digit multimeter, and a PC control centre with 12.1″ touch screen display. The control centre has manual control applications and EasyCal software for automated calibration and test management. EasyCal communicates with pressure modules and dry block calibrators.

The modules and accompanying products work together to enable users to setup and run testing applications quickly and efficiently. In addition to wide workload coverage, the CalBench provides an organised workspace and a central system for calibration, quality control and management. It can also be utilised for training of instrumentation technicians and engineers. The package can be customised to match site requirements, change pressure ranges or exchange dry block calibrators for different models.

For pressure an automatic controller module is used for pneumatic calibration from vacuum to 20 bar. A selection of precision measurement modules providing range coverage to 700 bar. Additionally dedicated differential pressure modules enable low range DP calibration. Accompanying pneumatic and hydraulic pumps are supplied. Calibrate pressure instrumentation such as:

  • Analogue and digital gauges, indicators, manometers
  • Calibrators, sensors, transducers, transmitters
  • Switches, valves, controllers, chart recorders

The CBP-PROC1 enables users to perform efficient calibration of temperature instrumentation. EasyCal can control the supplied dry block calibrators whilst reading back the temperature measurement of the sensor under test on the 8060 module. Additionally the 7085A scanner module enables multi-channel measurements to be performed. Calibrate various products including:
