Product Information
The CELLGUARD™ Wired Battery Monitoring System (BMS) delivers economical, yet highly accurate and reliable remote health analysis of stationary batteries in applications with high electromagnetic noise.
ENSURE UPTIME WITH 24/7 MONITORING
Utility personnel are provided with continuous 24/7 monitoring of key battery performance indicators to help enable proactive maintenance, ensure battery performance, and deliver uninterrupted uptime when it matters the most.
KEY ADVANTAGES
WIRED COMMUNICATION
The wired system connections deliver solid noise immunity and are perfect for challenging high noise environments such as data center uninterrupted power supplies.
INTERNAL RESISTANCE TESTING
This system tests a given battery’s internal resistance at a pre-determined interval. The results are then collected and presented as a trend, providing the user with genuine DC power plant performance insight.
SOLID HARDWARE
Comprised of a control module, battery sensor modules, one or more string sensor modules, and a current transducer, the system provides continuous 24/7 monitoring of key battery performance indicators
BATTERY ASSET MANAGEMENT
All key battery health indicators are tracked, displayed and communicated through the CELLTRAQ™ Battery Asset Management Software, providing visibility to any potential change in the performance characteristics and expectations of each battery within the critical power system.
SOLID HARDWARE
The CELLGUARD™ Wired Battery Monitoring System ideal for all mission-critical DC power plants including UPS, data center, rail / subway, airport, telco, utility power generation, utility substation, and manufacturing, as well as fire and safety systems.
BATTERY SENSORS
One battery sensor module per battery is capable of monitoring internal resistance, voltage, and temperature, delivering a comprehensive battery state of health analysis.
CONTROL MODULE
The control module records critical performance elements including alarms and discharge events. Alarm parameters and thresholds are managed through the control module which also delivers real-time system data through the web-based CELLTRAQ™ Battery Asset Management Software.
The Control Module can communicate via RS485, Ethernet, MODBUS/RTU, MODBUS/TCP, and SNMP protocols. Data derived from the BMS is easily integrated into most third-party systems.
STRING SENSOR & CURRENT TRANSDUCER
One string sensor module per string, in conjunction with a string current transducer provides monitoring of the string voltage, current, and ambient temperature.
BATTERY ASSET MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE
Users can remotely access battery performance data and configure measurement parameters and thresholds via the CELLTRAQ™ Battery Asset Management Software.
BATTERY STRING STATE-OF-HEALTH
Get real-time access to critical battery and string performance and resistance data including threshold warnings and alarms.
CONSOLIDATED DATA
Multi-string and multi-site management is made intuitive and easy with centralized access to the battery performance data of an entire network.
PERFORMANCE REPORTING
Analyze and configure reporting data for all sites and strings with user-customized reports that can be exported as PDFs or spreadsheets for simplified compliance reporting.
