5730A High Performance Multifunction Calibrator

sku Product SKU:  FCL-5730A

The new gold standard in electrical calibration

Since 1988, the 5700A family has set the standard for multifunction calibrator performance in calibration laboratories around the world. Now the time has come to advance this best-in-class calibrator, taking advantage of twenty-first century technology and usability.

The Fluke Calibration 5730A High Performance Multifunction Calibrator is the culmination of years of engineering development, customer research and industrial design, to bring to market the new “gold standard” in electrical multifunction calibration.

High performance for the future

Like its predecessors, the 5730A calibrates a wide range of digital multimeters, up to long-scale 8.5 digit DMMs, as well as RF voltmeters when equipped with the wideband option. But this new model features improved specifications that will help you increase test uncertainty ratios (TURs) and increase test confidence. What’s more, the improved specifications will reduce your need to guardband, giving you confidence and peace of mind in your calibrations.

  • Improved performance specifications for ac voltage, ac current and resistance
  • 6.5 inch VGA capacitive touch screen with full color graphical user interface
  • Visual Connection Management™ output terminals guide connections
  • Graphical user interface in nine languages
  • Compatible with 52120A and 5725A amplifiers
  • Full MET/CAL® compatibility with 5700A and 5720A procedures
  • Artifact Calibration using 10 V, 1 Ω and 10 kΩ external standards; 30 MHz and 50 MHz wideband output options available

96040A Low Phase Noise Reference Source

sku Product SKU:  FCL-96040A

The Fluke Calibration 96040A RF Reference Source enables you to simplify your RF calibration system by replacing many of the instruments and accessories that make up your current system. Its precision signal level and attenuation, high signal purity and precision low distortion modulation make this reference source superior to the general-purpose signal generators that are often used to calibrate spectrum analyzers, modulation meters, RF sensors, attenuators, and similar instruments. Its low phase noise provides superior phase noise performance.

Unlike many RF calibration solutions, the 96040A is designed specifically for RF calibration, with a calibration-oriented user interface that makes it easy to learn and use. The 96040A speeds up calibration procedures, reduces opportunities for operator errors, and greatly simplifies RF metrology. As the core of an RF and microwave calibration system, the 96040A covers the majority of test points required for calibrating spectrum analyzers of any frequency range.

Automated with MET/CAL® Plus Calibration Management Software, the 96040A reduces complexity and calibration times, dramatically improving efficiency and increasing capacity by 50 % or more over manual methods.

KEY BENEFITS

  • Covers a broad range of RF calibration workload
  • Reduces the number of instruments and interconnections required for your RF calibration system
  • “What you set is what you get” accurate signal delivery direct to the UUT input
  • Integrated 50 MHz frequency counter eliminates need for an additional instrument • Calibration-specific interface simplifies technician tasks
  • Simplifies uncertainty calculations by delivering known signals direct to the unit under test (UUT)
  • Lowers RF system maintenance costs
  • With automation, reduces spectrum analyzer calibration times by as much as 50% over manual methods

5080/CAL Software

sku Product SKU:  FCL-5080A

ACCURATE, RELIABLE ANALOG METER CALIBRATION

The 5080A Multi-Product Calibrator calibrates your analog workload accurately and reliably, thanks to its high voltage and current compliance. With maximum burden up to 800 mA for ac/dc voltage, and voltage up to 50 V for ac/dc current, 5080A calibrators can drive a wide range of analog meters.

OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES EXPAND WORKLOAD COVERAGE

Options and accessories enable you to use the 5080A Multi-Product Calibrator to calibrate an even broader workload, including:

  • Clamp meters. The 9100-200 10/50 turn coil and 5500A/COIL 50-turn current coil enables the 5080A to calibrate most popular clamp meters at currents up to 1000 A rms amps.
  • Oscilloscopes. Oscilloscope calibration to 200 MHz quickly, easily, and cost effectively. Verify dynamic response, bandwidth, timing, multiple triggering functions, and input resistance.
  • Megohm meters. This option sources high ohms, high voltage resistors up to 18 G ohms. It also measures high voltage outputs.

PROTECTIVE CIRCUITS PREVENT DAMAGE

Mains voltage inadvertently applied to a calibrator’s output terminals can cause extensive damage, requiring costly repairs. Electrical protection for calibrator outputs is vital for daily operation. The 5080A calibrator’s innovative protection circuitry prevents it from being damaged by reversed input voltage, so you can use it with confidence day after day.

HIGHEST VOLTAGE AND CURRENT COMPLIANCE

The 5080A has the highest voltage and current compliance of any calibrator in the Fluke Calibration multi-product and multifunction calibrator families, making it an ideal solution for calibrating analog meters and other instruments requiring higher drive capability for proper operation.

AUTOMATE THE 5080A MULTI-PRODUCT CALIBRATOR TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY AND THROUGHPUT

Versatile software applications enable automated calibration as well as paperless data collection and reporting

  • 5080/CAL. The 5080/CAL software is designed for calibrating analog and digital workload with the 5080A calibrator. It enables you to automate calibration, manage inventory, collect data and print reports, easily and economically.
  • MET/CAL® Lite for 5080A.MET/CAL Lite provides the power of MET/CAL Plus software in a lower cost version designed for use with 5080A calibrators.
  • MET/CAL® Plus. For the full spectrum of calibration automation and asset management, choose MET/CAL Plus software. Add Manual MET/CAL software for mechanical or dimensional workload where automation is not required. The solutions you need, from the leader in calibration
