AMETEK-Ls-Lx Series

sku Product SKU:  AME-Ls-Lx S

The Ls/Lx Series is a completely improved new product based on the popular California Instruments L Series. Both the Ls and Lx feature many basic AC Source capabilities at a very reasonable price. For more information on either product, please click on the product tab on the right.

Ls Series
The Ls Series is an improved version of the classic California Instruments L Series AC power sources. It provides many basic AC source capabilities at an economical cost. Additional capabilities such as arbitrary waveform generation and harmonic measurements can be added as options. The Ls Series can be ordered in either single phase (-1) or three phase (-3) configurations. Power levels range from 3 kVA to 6 kVA in a single chassis. Multiple chassis can be combined for power levels up to 18 kVA. The Ls Series is completely microprocessor controlled and can be operated from a simple front panel keypad. A pair of analog controls located next to the backlit alphanumeric LCD display allows output voltage and frequency to be slewed up or down dynamically. For more advanced operations, a series of menus is provided using a dual line high contrast LCD display. The Lx Series represents a modern AC power source that addresses increasing demands on test equipment to perform more functions at a lower cost. By combining a flexible AC power source with a high-end harmonic power analyzer, the Lx Series systems are capable of handling applications that would traditionally have required multiple instruments.

Lx Series
The Lx Series is completely microprocessor controlled and can be operated from a simple front panel keypad. A pair of analog controls located next to the backlit alphanumeric LCD display allows output voltage and frequency to be slewed up or down dynamically. With precise output regulation and accuracy, high load drive current, multi or single phase mode and built-in power analyzer measurement capabilities, Lx Series AC source/analyzers address many application areas for AC power testing. Additional features, like line arbitrary waveform generation and available DO 160 or MIL 704 test standards, make the Lx Series a good choice for avionics or defense applications. All Lx Series AC sources are equipped with IEEE-488 (GPIB) and RS232C remote control interfaces and support SCPI command language programming.

AMETEK-CSW Series

sku Product SKU:  AME-CSW S

The CSW Series represents a new generation of AC/DC power sources that address the increasing demands on test equipment to perform additional functions at a lower cost. By combining a flexible AC/DC power source with a high performance power analyzer, the Compact CSW Series is capable of handling complex applications that have traditionally required multiple systems. The sleek integrated approach of the CSW avoids cable clutter that is commonly found in test systems. All connections are made internally and the need for digital multimeters, power harmonics analyzers, and current shunts or clamps is eliminated.

Since many components in the CSW are shared between the AC/DC source and the power analyzer, the total cost of the integrated system is less than the typical cost of a multiple unit system.

Easy to use controls
The CSW Series is DSP controlled and can be operated from an easy to use front panel keypad. Functions are grouped logically and are directly accessible from the keypad. This eliminates the need to search through various levels of menus and/or soft keys. A large analog control knob can be used to quickly slew output parameters. This knob is controlled by a dynamic rate change algorithm that combines the benefits of precise control over small parameter changes with quick sweeps through the entire range.

AC, DC or AC+DC Output
A direct coupled, transformerless design allows AC and DC on separate phases or on the same phase. The CSW can be used as a true DC power supply. High DC content waveforms (up to 312 volts) can be created with no derating of output power, even with 100% reactive loads, eliminating the need for a separate DC supply. Waveform programming is easily accomplished using the Graphical Users Interface software. Waveforms can be uploaded and modified from a digital scope. The waveforms can then be downloaded to the CSW and output to precisely simulate real-world conditions.

6050H Extremely High Temperature Calibration Salt Bath

sku Product SKU:  FCL-6050H

This model is designed for high-temperature work—up to 550 °C. Most labs use this as a salt bath for calibration of thermocouples, RTDs, and SPRTs. In fact, this bath is so good you can even do comparison calibrations of SPRTs with it. The bath is stable to ±0.005 °C or better at 300 °C.

Fluke Calibration is the only company that offers complete automated calibration software packages that work with the bath interface option. Our optional software is not just a data acquisition package; it actually controls the calibration, including bath temperatures.

Choose the model that most closely matches your needs. These baths are compatible with salt for higher temperatures and also with oils for lower temperatures.

Fluke sells a complete selection of salt and fluids for your bath. You can find these here. Salt baths offer better performance and less mess than sand baths. SPRT comparison calibrations in a sand bath aren’t reliable the way they are in a Fluke Calibration salt bath.

All options, including the automation interface package, are available for the 6050H. It is the finest-quality salt bath you can buy!

If you need to reach the maximum temperature possible in a salt bath, the Fluke Calibration 6050H goes to 550 °C and is 10 to 100 times more stable than alternative calibration devices.

It is 305 mm (12 in) deep and has a 127 x 254 mm (5 x 10 in) well opening for easy access. Ports in the rear of the bath access cooling coils if you want to cool the bath rapidly with external fluids.

  • Eliminates messy sand baths
  • Electronically adjustable temperature cutouts
  • Stability of ±0.008 °C at 550 °C

Find a salt bath for calibration at extremely high temperatures (550 °C). Fluke Calibration metrology baths are well known world-wide for excellent temperature control that maintains excellent temperature stability (±0.002 °C) and uniformity (±0.005 °C).

You’ll find more Fluke Calibration baths in national labs than any other brand, and there’s a reason for that. No one else can match the stability, uniformity, and performance of a Fluke Calibration bath, and we absolutely guarantee it.
