*** This is a follow-up to the first round of testing I did as viewers spotted / pointed out some critical issues that affected the results ***
I also test the Fluke 87 V with the reference voltage, resistance and current values.
I demonstrate the DMMCheck and PentaRef from VoltageStandard (www,voltagestandard.com).
Digital Multimeter reference / accuracy check
These are Low cost Voltage References and multimeter checks for voltage, current and resistance.
I then run through some tests to compare the accuracy of the following multimeters:
Fluke 287
Brymen TBM867 / BM867
Major Tech MT1887 / Extech EX530
Major Tech MT22
ISO-Tech IDM207
I also introduce the Fluke 87 V which I will review soon.
A list of my multimeters can be purchased here:

Buy the Fluke 87V here: http://astore.amazon.com/m0711-20/detail/B0002YFD1K
This is a review of the Fluke 87V. This is Fluke's true RMS digital multimeter with 6000 / 20000 count. This is an industrial multimeter for electrical / electronics.
I will be using this multimeter in a future series on "How to use a multimeter for advanced measurements" (multimeter tutorial)
Thanks to Comtest for the loan of the multimeter www.comtest.co.za

Specs:
* Unique function for accurate voltage and frequency measurements on adjustable speed motor drives and other electrically noisy equipment (87V)
* Built-in thermometer conveniently allows you to take temperature readings without having to carry a separate instrument (87V)
* Optional magnetic hanger for easy set-up and viewing while freeing your hands for other tasks
* Large digit display with bright, two-level backlight makes the 80- Series V significantly easier to read than older models

MDO-2000E series is equipped with a dual channel 25 MHz arbitrary waveform generator.
We could utilize arbitrary waveform generator to output waveforms and conduct frequency domain analysis by the built-in spectrum analyzer.
